3-hour Mini Workshop with Lindy Hop and Blues Champion Peter Swing
iSwingTokyo is pleased to present a mini workshop with Osaka’s Peter Swing! This workshop will cover Peter’s unique and interesting way of approaching swing dancing.
Peter Swing
Peter Swing is a world-class, champion dancer from California, USA. Peter is a professional musician as well as a professional dancer. This combination of talent has allowed him to create and a unique and effective style of dance. Peter has won the American Strictly title which requires incredible musicality and creativity. In this competition, you do not know what music will be played before you compete. In addition to Lindy Hop, Peter has won the American Blues title twice! Peter is a complete dancer, choreographer and musician. His dancing is, in a word, musical. Other words to describe his dancing could be: amazing, cool, smooth and most of all…fun! Currently Peter lives in Osaka where he continues to be an inspiration for the dancers in that scene as well as being the “resident philosopher” for Mechakucha Swing. Peter often travels abroad to bring his knowledge of music and dance to people the world over.

Cost
Workshop 2 Lessons: 5,000 Yen (Payable on the day of the workshop)
Each Lesson: 2,500 Yen
Registration is not necessary. Please come to GT Hall on the day of the mini workshop at 13:10 for registration.

Directions
Hibiya / Tokyu Toyoko Line, Naka-Meguro Station (less than 1 min).
GT Plaza Hall is right in front of the Naka-Meguro Station (less than a minute away). When you get out of the ticket gate, just turn right and the hall is right in front of you. Take the stairways down to B1.
