A 3.5 Hour Swing Dance Crash Course
3.5 hours of intensive fun on weekend afternoons, covering both 6-count and 8-count Swing. If you’re too busy for group lessons, this is the perfect class to get started learning the Lindy Hop.

The beginner’s intensive class is a 3.5 hour crash course that covers the Lindy Hop fundamentals. Each class covers 6-count and 8-count patterns and variations, while emphasizing solid leading & following techniques.
This intense Lindy Hop crash course is geared toward those with little or no previous Swing dance experience, or for those who want to review the 6 and 8 count fundamentals.
Fees: First time taking the class – 5,000 Yen (you will receive a stamp card)
If you choose to take the same class again within 6 months:
2nd time taking the class (with stamp card) – 3,000 Yen
3rd time taking the class (with stamp card) – 2,000 Yen

＊ You need to take off your street shoes when you enter the Senzoku kumin Center. So please bring another pair of shose when we have lessons at Senzoku kumin Center.
Lesson Fee
¥5,000 / 1 class (3.5 hours)
First time taking the class – 5,000 Yen (you will receive a stamp card)
If you choose to take the same class again within 6 months:
2nd time taking the class (with stamp card) – 3,000 Yen
3rd time taking the class (with stamp card) – 2,000 Yen
NOTE: The card can only be used for the same class (6 or 8 count). You cannot use the 6-count card for the 8-count class for example. Cards expire 6 months from the purchase of the first class.
The end of December will be the last time that you may purchase a 3-month pass for the beginner’s intensive class. After December, you may only purchase a 1-time ticket for this class.
No need to pre-register! Just come to the studio on the day of the class.

Lesson FAQ for First-Timers
- No pre-registration needed. Just show up to class.
- No partner needed. No previous dance experience needed.
- Wear loose and comfortable clothing.
- We recommend sneakers, dance shoes, or shoes with no heels.
- You may wish to bring a workout towel and change of clothes.
- You’ll be able to change in the restrooms.
- The practice rooms are on the B1 level. There is a small sign to the right of the reception desk. Our lessons are under “iSwingTokyo.”
Please Note: We do our best to teach in Japanese and in English. Since this depends on the instructor(s), sometimes English language instruction is not possible. If you cannot speak Japanese please drop us a line. We will try to accommodate you as best we can.
